Award-Winning Spyro Tableware Unveiled

Leading supplier of tableware, cutlery and stemware Steelite International, has launched Spyro – an award-winning new embossed range.

Spyro is Steelite International's latest range of stunning tableware, which combines presentation and practicality. Spyro features a unique embossment that catches the light to create a captivating 3D optical effect of highlights and shadows. The pattern, inspired by British 'Op Art' artist Bridget Riley, draws the eye around the plate or bowl and into the centre, while 'framing' the food.

Award-winning Spyro was launched in the USA in May and has already scooped a prestigious industry award within the Foodservice Equipment Reports' Smallwares & Tabletop competition.

Every item in the range has been individually styled with the Spyro pattern to create a stylish and spectacular collection on which chefs can make the perfect presentation. In addition to surface design, all Spyro products have been developed to a sumptuous, contemporary curved shape. The range comprises a comprehensive selection of flatware and hollowware items and is ideally suited for use in all environments, from banqueting to fine dining.

Spyro is made using Steelite International's Distinction ceramic formula, developed in the company's factory in Stoke-on-Trent, England. This formula ensures Spyro has the elegance and characteristics of fine china but it is also highly resistant to thermal shock. The product has been developed to provide smart, functional and affordable tableware that is built to last and easily able to withstand the trials of daily use. It provides excellent heat retention and is fully microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe. In addition, Spyro comes complete with a five year edge chip warranty for maximum confidence.
