Nashville Chic
23 September 2014
Omni Nashville is the latest hotel in the Omni family to rely on Steelite International’s tableware to set the desired atmosphere in its three-meal restaurant, Kitchen Notes. The “Nashville chic” ambience combines the genteel notes of the South with the comfort food of your granny’s kitchen.
“We use the Craft white pattern from Steelite for everything,” says Dawn Southworth, director of operations. “The pattern really plays to the food and impression of the room. It shows the food better, and that’s a big deal; it’s like looking in a Southern Living magazine.” In fact, many Omni guests are so impressed with the presentation that they ask where they can buy the tableware.
Averaging 10,000 covers per month in the restaurant and another 10,000 in-room diners, the contemporary tableware is getting lots of use. The Omni, downtown Nashville’s largest hotel, also relies on Steelite for its banquet tableware in the Spyro pattern, to the tune of 400,000 covers per year.
Known for commercial durability with high styling and freezer to oven to microwave versatility, Steelite’s reliability is without question—as is its customer service. “The product not only looks great, it lasts, and we’re able to get replacements no problem when needed. The people at Steelite know their business,” Southworth adds.
