Steelite International Breaks the Mould With New Tableware Ranges
1 September 2008
Sponsor of the trophies at this year's prestigious London Restaurant Awards, Steelite International has introduced three stunning new tableware ranges – Z, Spyro and Symmetry.
Z is a striking design that combines standard flatware shapes with new finishing effects, to create innovative pieces that are extremely versatile. The new Z range has been designed with a wide, fluted rim decorated with a linear embossment on every other surface. This combination of angular surfaces and pattern catches the light and creates an eye-catching display of highlights and shadows to set off any dish. Z is available in a range of shapes in ceramic and glass.
Spyro is Steelite International's award-winning new embossed range, which combines presentation and practicality. The unique embossment on Spyro catches the light to create a captivating optical effect of highlights and shadows. The comprehensive range comprises flatware and hollowware items and is ideally suited to all environments. Spyro has already scooped a prestigious industry award within Foodservice Equipment Reports' Smallwares & Tabletop competition.
Steelite International's third new product is Symmetry. This stylish range has been launched initially with two pieces – Arc, a curvaceous ellipse shape, and Curve, a sweeping almost 's' shaped form. The striking shapes are accentuated with a wide rim and deep well, which makes them ideal for hot and cold dishes.
The new ranges have been developed with the key attributes of practicality and performance, which are synonymous with Steelite International. Z, Spyro and Symmetry are made using Steelite International's Distinction ceramic formula, which provides the characteristics of fine china while withstanding the trials of daily use.
Sponsor of the trophies for this year's London Restaurant Awards, Steelite International has produced bespoke presentation plates for the prestigious event. The highly sought-after culinary trophies are being awarded to dining excellence from across the capital, as well as a new category for the top 10 restaurants outside London.
