Community Ticket Donation Scheme Continues

Steelite International have renewed their sponsorship of the Regent Theatre's "Community Ticket Donation Scheme" due to the success of the initiative.

Over the past year Steelite International has given away hundreds of Regent Theatre tickets to local community groups and fundraisers, through sponsorship of the Steelite International Community Ticket Donation Scheme.

The first beneficiary of the continued sponsorship is the Neonatal Unit at the North Staffordshire University Hospital, who received tickets for Corrie! from former Coronation Street star Gaynor Faye.

Val Wright, Steelite International Community Ticket Donation Scheme Manager said "Every month we get hundreds of applications from local groups for theatre tickets. Through Steelite International's sponsorship we are able to donate over 30 tickets each month for fundraising or to use to reward hard working volunteers. My job is very fulfilling and I get some lovely thank you letters."

Wendy Dean, Head of Human Resources at Steelite International adds "Giving our support to the local community where most of our staff live and work is really important to us as an employer. It's great that the Neonatal Unit is the first beneficiary this year as it is our corporate charity and staff are constantly fundraising for this excellent local cause."
